If you wish to delete your account and associated data created in Chinese Chess (chess.z3web.cn website or the Android app), please follow these steps:
How to Request
- Send an email to chessz3web@gmail.com
- Use the subject line "Delete Account"
- Include your username in the message so we can locate your account
- We will process your request within 7 business days and reply by email
Data That Will Be Deleted
- Account information (username, password hash)
- Associated email address
- Game history and move records
- Endgame puzzle progress and completion records
- Other server-side data associated with your account
Local App Data
Local battle records and settings in the Android app are stored on your device. You can also:
- Clear them in the app via "Mine → Local Battle Records"
- Or simply uninstall the app, which removes all local data
Retention Period
After account deletion, remaining copies will be automatically purged from server backups within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
